Automatic Poultry Evisceration Line 

Dutch Poultry Tech’s automatic evisceration line offers a fully integrated solution for modern poultry processing. Designed with precision, hygiene, and operator safety in mind, the line covers every step from vent cutting to final unloading, ensuring fast, consistent, and high-quality processing.

The line begins with the Vent Cutter, which makes a clean circular cut around the bird’s vent and removes the Bursa of Fabricius without damaging the intestines. Next, the Opening Machine enlarges the vent opening for the evisceration units, maintaining intestinal integrity.

The Automatic Spoon Eviscerator removes the entire intestine package safely and efficiently, while optional processing of hearts, lungs, and gizzards can be completed with complementary equipment such as the gizzard harvester. For crop, trachea, and oesophagus removal, the Automatic Cropping Machine ensures thorough cleaning with minimal mechanical wear. The Neck Breaker separates necks cleanly and uniformly, with an optional neck skin trimmer.

Following evisceration, the Final Inspection Machine and Inside/Outside Bird Washer ensure residual tissues are removed and carcasses are hygienically cleaned, enhancing shelf life and product safety.

Additional modules include the Rehanger, which can automatically rehang birds from the killing line to the evisceration line to reduce labor and cross-contamination, and the Automatic Bird Unloader, which efficiently unloads birds into chillers or collection crates at rates up to 10,000 birds per hour, optionally with a hock/feet cutter.

Built entirely from stainless steel and other non-corrosive materials, each unit features height adjustment, central drains, and safety sensors to protect operators and prevent damage to the line. The modular, prefabricated, and floor-mounted design ensures easy installation, flexible configuration, and smooth integration into existing processing facilities.

With capacities ranging from 3,000 to 6,500 birds per hour, this line combines precision, reliability, and hygiene, providing a complete solution for efficient poultry processing.

Rehanger Kill > EV

Birds come in from the killing line through a rehanger. This is optional as birds can also manually be hang on the evisceration line.

Vent cutter, Opener, Eviscerator

The birds first go into the vent cutter, where the vent is removed. Then it goes into the opener, where the bird gets cut open. Afterwards the intestine are removed in the eviscerator machine.

Cropper, Final Inspection, Bird Washer

The birds moved into the cropper, where remaining windpipes and crops are removed. During the final inspection quick removal of remaining impurities in the carcass by vacuum takes place. Lastly the birds are thoroughly spray washed both inside and outside.

Gizzard harvester

Optional to add an gizzard harvester to the line to make full use of the evisceration process.
