Complete Poultry Processing Line – From Arrival to Chilling

Dutch Poultry Tech’s complete poultry processing line provides a fully integrated solution from live bird arrival through to chilling. Designed for efficiency, hygiene, and ease of operation, the line is based on proven technology and a modular, prefabricated layout that allows fast installation and reliable performance.

The process starts with arrival and live bird handling, followed by stunning and killing. Birds then move through scalding and plucking, ensuring effective feather removal and consistent carcass quality. After plucking, birds are rehung to transfer them smoothly to the evisceration line, with an optional hock cutter available at this stage to meet specific processing requirements.

The evisceration section includes a complete range of automatic machines: vent cutter, opener, eviscerator, cropper, final inspection machine, and inside/outside bird washer. Together, these units ensure precise removal of internal organs, thorough cleaning of the carcass, and high hygiene standards. An optional automatic rehanger can be installed to transfer birds directly from evisceration to the chilling area, reducing manual handling and cross-contamination.

At the end of the line, processors can choose between air chilling or water chilling, depending on product specifications, capacity requirements, and market preferences.

This complete processing line offers flexibility, efficiency, and scalability, making it suitable for poultry processors seeking a reliable, easy-to-operate solution tailored to their production needs.

Arrival

Arrival station where the birds are manually hung on the line.

Stunning, Scalding & Plucking

The birds are stunned and killed afterwards. The blood will fall in a trough before going into the scalder where the feathers are loosened, afterwards the plucker defeathers the birds.

Rehanger

The birds are automatically rehang from the killing line to the evisceration line.

Evisceration Line

A complete evisceration line includes vent cutter, opener, eviscerator, cropper, final inspection, inside/outside bird washer. You can add an additional rehanger here (EV to cooling). The cooling line will follow afterwards
