The Opener from Dutch Poultry Tech is the second step in the automatic evisceration line, designed to enlarge the opening created by the vent cutter to allow smooth and safe removal of internal organs. Using a ball-shaped opening device combined with small knives, the machine creates a clean and controlled cut without damaging the intestines.

During operation, the opening unit enters the vent opening and expands via a guide track, while integrated knives ensure a straight and accurate cut. At the same time, the intestines are gently pressed down during the cutting movement to prevent puncturing, which is essential for maintaining hygiene and avoiding contamination. The machine is fully adjustable, allowing operators to adapt the cutting length for different bird sizes and processing requirements, ensuring consistent results across varying production conditions.

The Opener from Dutch Poultry Tech is a critical machine in the automatic evisceration line, positioned directly after the Vent Cutter. Its function is to enlarge the initial vent opening, creating sufficient access for the evisceration units to remove the internal organs efficiently and safely.

The machine operates using a ball-shaped opening device that is inserted into the vent opening. As the unit follows a guide track, it expands and opens the carcass in a controlled manner.
