The module includes an overhead-driven 180-degree hock cutter, an inline hock unloading system, an optional integrated bird counter, and a double vertical shackle washer. By combining these functions, processors benefit from a smoother workflow with fewer transitions and less manual handling.
As birds move through the module, the hocks are first accurately cut using the overhead-driven system. The hock unloading unit then removes the hocks efficiently from the line. At the same time, the optional bird counter registers production, giving operators better insight into throughput. Finally, the integrated shackle washer continuously cleans shackles, supporting hygiene and preparing them for reuse in the next cycle.
